Improving a state-wide data dashboard with a UX-led design revamp.
The Perinatal Quality Collaborative of North Carolina works in facilities across North Carolina to gather and analyze data to improve the quality of care for mothers and their newborns. Specifically, the DELPHI tool exists for providers to provide data through surveys of specific populations.
I conducted a UX audit of this interface, looking for troublesome UX and opportunities to improve the usability for analysts and for providers logging information: providing adequate color contrast, clearer labeling in context on dropdown lists, and a clearer searching interface. Following the audit, I redesigned the dashboard to integrate suggestions and overall improve the look and feel of DELPHI into a modern, branded UI.
I want to talk about colors with you.
